SFAI "Vernissage" @ Fort Mason Center 5/19/06

Here were a smattering of highlights for me. Unfortch I couldn't really take it all in- partly because there was so much and partly because I had about an hour to zip through with my parents on our way to a dinner reservation. But I would like to say a hearty beer and soy sausage CONGRATS! to everyone who finished up this semester- including my under-represented pals of the BFA variety.

These miniature paintings were knockouts. A skillful combination of political content and beautiful detail.

Dan Farnum ---> Dan's work looked so good at the show. His printing skillz have come such a long way even since a year ago. Woot!

Believe it or not this was an installation of one MFA. This guy really made the best of his slightly crappy corner location. I thought this was one of the best uses of the warehouse space.
