"Alex Zecca: New Work " @ Gallery 16 6/15/06

This show was in part a re-opening of the former Mission district space Gallery 16. I never saw the old space, but the new digs were airy, huge and very SOMA. There was plenty of space for both a front room group show and Alex Zecca's solo show off to the side.

As far as Zecca's work was concerned, I was very impressed. The techical skill of his work is worth the up close look alone. While some images were more interesting than others I think he is on his way to making some very exciting work indeed.
